We are looking for a backend developer with experience in TypeScript and Node.js who wants to contribute to the development of modern web and application solutions. At JMWD, we create projects tailored to our needs – from internal systems to extensive web platforms. We are looking for someone who understands API architecture, asynchronous code, and consistently writes clean, understandable code.
What you will do
- Develop backend applications in TypeScript (Node.js, Express, NestJS)
- Create REST/GraphQL APIs and integrate with frontend and external services
- Design data models and work with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability of backend solutions
- Collaborate with the frontend team (React/Next.js) and DevOps infrastructure
- Engage in architecture design and deployment processes
What we expect from you
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+)
- Experience with Node.js and frameworks Express or NestJS
- Knowledge of working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with API design, authentication, and asynchronous processes
- Version control in Git, basic CI/CD workflow
- Advantage: knowledge of Docker, Redis, GraphQL, or microservices architecture
