We are looking for a backend developer who has a passion for clean code, thoughtful architecture, and modern technologies. At JMWD, we develop websites, applications, and internal systems for various clients - from small companies to larger projects. We use PHP 8+ , Symfony and Nette frameworks, MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, and a modern DevOps stack.
What you will do
- Develop backend web applications in PHP (Symfony, Nette)
- Create and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs for frontend and integrations
- Design data structures, ORM, and optimize performance
- Contribute to the architecture and CI/CD pipeline design
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers
- Test and deploy code using Docker and Git workflow
What we expect from you
- Advanced knowledge of PHP 8+ and OOP
- Experience with Symfony or Nette framework (ideally both)
- Knowledge of working with Doctrine ORM, SQL, and database design
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code and understand the broader context of the project
- Basics of working with Docker, Git, and Linux
- Preferred: knowledge of DDD, Clean Architecture, or experience with testing (PHPUnit)
